Pearl-Ex and a Glue Stick

Stamp by Ink Blocks

You need:
Glue stick
Pearl-Ex powder
old  brush or sponge to apply powder
a kleenex to remove the excess powder
any color of non-glossy paper.............glossy will work but I don't like the look I get.

Cut your paper to the size needed.  Cover one side of the paper with glue.  Just scribble all over the card until it's completely covered.

Dip the brush  in the powder and hold the brush over the card and tap it so the powder falls on the card.  Use different colors of powder if you wish.  Now lightly move the powder around until all the glue is covered in powder, being careful not to get glue on the brush.  You don't want to mix the different colors of powder so don't rub too much, just enough to cover the glue.

Set it aside and let the glue dry.  It doesn't take long.

Wipe off the loose powder with a kleenex.  Don't rub too hard, you just want to get rid of anything loose.

Now you can stamp on the paper or use it as a background or layering paper.

The example had the image stamped in black Crafters ink and embossed with clear ink.  If you emboss, clear powder works better because some extra powder is going to stick to the pearl-ex and you'd get spots if you used colored embossing powder.
